How to use:

Maintenance to the Exterior of your Woodheater.

If the finish on your wood heater has deteriorated or developed some surface rust over the years from either a leaky flue flashing, moisture or salt in the air or other reason, it can be rectified by the following method.

Obtain a black sponge sanding block from your local hardware store. These sanding blocks are available in Coarse/Medium or Medium/ Fine. Purchase the medium/fine and use the Fine side to sand back the affected area, to bare metal, if necessary, dust off thoroughly.

Obtain a spray can of Stove Bright Metallic Black paint and paint the prepared area. Carefully read the instructions on the can before painting to achieve best results.
